That's right, folks...our beloved cowbell-requiring actor has taken the seat for the possible President of the United States of America. A friend of mine sent me this link and, at first, I thought it to be just a joke...I mean who in the world would accept an actor as a govenmental offical?? (yuk yuk)

Of course we've had our share of Ronald Reagans, Arnold Schwarzeneggers and Jesse "the body" Venturas in political places.

Maybe it's not such a bad idea. Evidence has shown the lack of ability in public speaking from our current president. I don't even think I need to post the countless link to the follies of G. W. Bush in public speeches.

But what will this show to the rest of the world?

Perhaps an intent to stab your mother with a sodering iron is the exact message we want to send to foreign nations.

Regardless of your political stance, I figured you, as ubersite members, might find this as amusing as I do.

I love Christopher Walken. Every movie he's been in I've loved. He's one of the best actors the United States has to offer. But president? I don't know about that one. The website posted certainly makes it seem real but I haven't found a single mention of what party he's going to be running for. He seems to support our armed forces to the extreme and he is all for stem cell research. But this doesn't identify him in either political party.

Just curious what uber's thoughts were...

I saw this on the news this morning. He isn't really running. It's a farse. However, the rumor was sparked when he said he was considering running for Govenor or Senator some where in bum fucksville.

"But what will this show to the rest of the world?"

It would show the rest of the world our President can tap dance like a motherfucker.

If mr. Walken would be president, I would instantly move to Washington DC just to be close to him.

I'd vote Walken 2008 if he could promise every citizen a war watch, smuggled in his ass.

He'd probably be a pro-union democrat and I couldn't vote for that...

All the actors that actually do well in government oddly tend to be republicans.

Still, the only prescription is more cowbell.
