I didn't think to take pictures, but they cooked up to look a lot like the ones in your picture. They have shredded cheese mixed in with the hamburger and turned out pretty good.

~~~~~~
If you cook more, I sure would like to see them..
After breakfast at my diner, I stopped at the butcher's. They were actually selling turtle bacon burgers, billed as 'Teenage Mutant Turtle Burgers' so I bought a couple(ok, 6) and I'm fixin' to grill 'em this evening with some taters. We'll see how they turn out.
PHOTOS, I wanna see the "Mutant Turtles"!!!
I've cooked something like those fatbombs a couple times, but I don't eat them. They aren't appetizing, are they? If you want a tasty version of these that won't make you immediately die, try this...
!!!SHTICK ALERT!!!
Bacon Wrapped Beer-Soaked Bleu-Stuffed Beef Medallions
You'll Need:
8oz minimum Filet Mignon at least 1.25 inches thick
Thick-cut smoked bacon
Bleu cheese
toothpicks
bamboo skewers
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 cloves garlic, finely minced and crushed
2 bottles Bass Ale
1/4 tsp salt
To make:
Cut the steak into 4-6 equal pieces
*you may want to sterilize your knife before and after next step for each piece*
With a paring knife, carefully open a pocket in the side of each piece near the center
Stuff pocket in each piece with blue cheese, close pocket with toothpicks, set aside.
Mix Worcestershire, garlic, and salt in bowl, stir to dissolve salt.
Add steaks to bowl, cover with beer, stir to evenly distribute marinade, drink the rest of the beer.
Marinate steaks for 1 hour in fridge
Remove steaks from marinade
Remove toothpicks and wrap steaks with bacon, overlapping only enough to ensure coverage of sides
Skewer wrapped steaks to retain bacon wrap
Cover with wax paper and allow to warm for 10 min
Grill skewered steaks on top and bottom over high heat to sear, then move to med or low to continue cooking
Cook steaks to 135-140F internal temp
Serve on skewers hot off grill
Enjoy!
Bacon's too thin on those - overcooks before the cheeseburger's done through.
Bacon's too thin on those - overcooks before the cheeseburger's done through. Thick cut's the way to go. Shoulda wrapped the heads/tails/feet in foil for the first little while so they don't burn like that. The yellow bits are cheese, Orph, so they're OK.
Also my kids found a jaw and other assorted bones on the roadside of a country but busy road near us.
They had been there ages but e had never noticed a corpse only ever the bones.
The jaw was snout like so I am guessing fox, cats have flat faces.
The kids reckon it's trex or raptor. I should put pics on FB. I have a story to tell you too about it.
