The prize is the same prize that gets given away every year - if you win, you get to host next year's Geek-off. Yes. That's right. If you win, then you get to do this next year. All the glamour, all the glory, all the fame, all the adulation, all the raspberries... right there, in your lap.

Ain't it WORTH it? YES!*

*ok, mebbe not. But do it anyway. 'Cause it's fun.

Oh good, a contest. Lessee... as Uber defines it, a geek will be heavy on Star Wars/Trek and any other space-based TV/movies/comics, comics in general, computers in general, the internet in general, video games (especially those that simulate violence), RPG (but not LARP 'cos that's AIDS-drippingly gay), and I'm sure I've forgotten a few.

I've considered, and I think I shall join Little Monster on the sidelines. We will cook delicious burgers and drink beer and cheer you geeks on.

I'm nerdy rather than geeky, I shall watch with interest however.

Homer: You like parties, huh? Well, I just remembered they're having
a big one down at the waterfront this weekend.

Marge: You didn't remember that. You just saw it on TV.
