I stopped doing AHTT because

A) I ran out of ideas (you'll see soon)

B) People stopped reading them

so if you want me to do more, you should hope I get better ideas, and also, read the goddamn things so I don't feel bad about myself and stuff like that.

http://handturkeytheatre.box43.net

It also helps if you buy me books. I'll send you a handwritten letter as thanks!

http://tinyurl.com/y3v9jy

I like books, but I kind of fucking hate writing AHTTs. And you know what? I don't have any shame. Just buy some goddamn books!

I love these. Don't stop. I'll buy you a book. I'll think about buying you a book.

I probably wont buy you a book because I need to buy books for myself, but keep writing these. I can give you the gift of appreciation. It's worth nothing, but it's something.

Kafka is one of the best authors I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Particularly The Harrow. And the Metamorphosis for the opening line alone.

really dull.

however, i was thinking about this very situation the other day after having reread metamorphosis.

your friend tells you on his deathbed that his last dying wish that he entrusts to you, his closest (or at any rate present) friend, to burn his works. only thing you know that theyre works of literary genius and that the world will be a better place if they are are shared for all to read.

which comes first: loyalty to friend or service to mankind?

I love these, but doing too many of them cheapens the whole series, I would suggest doing only one every month or so, and fillnig the rest of the time with random, pointless, yet funny crap like this: http://www.ubersite.com/m/87675

I'm too lazy to spell check-sorry.

Part of the beauty of AHTT is that current events are always available as inspiration (right?). I always read when I see them, and the series is creative and funny. I'd like to think it's something you can pick up and do when you're inspired to, even if you're on a hiatus or aren't motivated to do a consistent series.

Viva la AHTT.

---

It's the actual work that eventually gets to me. The program I use slows down my computer and it gets really aggravating. I'm always glad to have gotten one done, but when you're staring at a 700x7000 column of blank white space and you think "I have to write enough conversation to fill this WHOLE GODDAMN THING" you kind of get to following that thought with "fuck it."

Why don't you ask your boyfriend to buy you books rather than, you know, strangers?

---

Because he's a poor college student and he's already given me the gift of love.

No I mean the dialogue between the hand-turkeys didn't have any big pauses or misinterpretations or anything.

I purposefully go out of my way to nit-pick AHTT posts because I enjoy the premise so much.

Ohh, right, of course. I guess since I haven't done one of these since August I was a little out of step or something.

I'm reading this really weird book, called Kafka on the Shore.
In it, there's this guy who cuts apart kittens and then eats their hearts.
It's reallly strange.
But it's a good book.
Nice post.

Less smooth? I'm probably one of the least refined writers on Ubersite. I don't usually dick around with continuity or stuff like that, and often have grammar and spelling mistakes.

Dear Spencer,

What the fuck man? I love AHTT! I even went to your site and read all the backlogs, some were very clever.

I really liked the prove your not crazy ones. Write more of those there are plenty of crazies out there waiting to be documented as poorly drawn hand turkeys!

Now stop whining and get some more out!
