I saved this pupster yesterday. She was cowering in the oil under a car parked on a busy street in downtown LA.
I took her home, scrubbed her down, and discovered a little white puppy under all those fleas and funk.
I've named her Hazel and now am working on finding her a home...

+2 for rescuing a dog, if I was you I would keep it though it looks as though it will only eat your shoes for 11 years.

there are rescue referrals for every state (my gf runs the NH purebred rescue refferal service) if you let one of them know you have a dog for adoption, they can help you place it, they are non profit and it wont cost you a dime.
and there are many "no kill" shelters that foster dogs if you cant keep it, they will untill it either dies of old age, or finds a home.
most of those dogs live better than i do

Sweet jesus, if I didn't already have a house full of cats...
Best of luck finding her a home. Don't want to bum you out, but if you have to give her to a shelter for adoption, check first to make sure it is a 'no-kill' shelter.
