Well that Buff/Carolina series was the seven gamer we all thought it would be.
I'll let you guys write your own highlights below, I missed too many games this round and drank way too much.

No, I'm pretty sure MacT is still going to stick with Jussi. ( He was quoted as saying regardless of how he plays they're going to leave him in the net as a confidence booster. ) We can really only blame the goalie had the score been 5-4. Take your shots on net, and stay out of the god damned box! I'm not extremely worried yet, we've been down by 2 in a series and come back.

I think Edmonton will go back to the number 2 goalie after last night. He looked horrible, granted, edmonton didnt play that great a game either. they came out of the gates way to wrong there, the first 10 minutes was a race to see who was gonna score the first goal..way too many odd man rushes. You cant leave a goalie that hasnt played 1 minute of playoff hockey in that situation.

Ouch. Way to step up Edmonton! Rally behind the new goalie! They left him all alone out there. Meanwhile, Conklin is (apparently) backup for the rest of the series due to that gaff in game 1. Not looking so good for the Oil right now. On the other hand, all Carolina did was hold serve, albeit impressively.
Too bad about the classlessness displayed by Edmonton in the last 10 minutes. "Hey, we're losing 4-0, how can I respond? I know, I'll punch that jerk Glen Wesley(????) in the face!" Good plan dude, good plan.

That's too bad about Roloson. I have a feeling that Edmonton will rally around whoever starts in goal in game 2, and really clamp down on Carolina. If they hold them to under 20 shots, they can easily win the game.

Canes in 7. Should be a great series. I was sad when Carolina beat Buffalo. It was weird, I couldn't figure out why, since I was kind of rooting for Carolina. Then I realized that I was sad the series was ending. Hopefully they can keep these teams together next season. Young, fast, skilled teams make for good hockey.

Carolina in 7...this is a hopeful prediction. NHL needs a game 7 stanley cup (not saying that the playoffs werent enough) to get back on the map in most people's eyes. I've loved every game so far, and i HIGHLY doubt this matchup can disappoint.
