First off, I don't want to hear any "2 POSTES A/ DAYu!!!8!! -2 LOLOMGWTFBBQ~!!" about this.
This is a hate post directed at emordnilaP's post about war but also mostly directed at the youth of today. This will be equal parts childish and equal parts wise.
This is the biggest waste of free speech of all time. People like you should be lined up and shot. The line would have to curve though because it would not fit on any continent in a straight line. And that's the sad truth.
You're everywhere. You're all my political science teachers, you're every 14 year old alive, you're every "punk rocker" in the world, you're fucking infectious.
You think you have a free spirit or a piece of individuality by opposing a fucking war? Give me a fucking break.

No. You haven't, you don't, and you never will. I can answer faster than you because I'm better than you for the simple reason that I know everything.
All you know has been breast fed to you by the news, green day, and comedians. Subsequently, you know nothing.
You are not free thinking. You should have to pay a huge sum for every time you even think about something as trivial as stating your opinions on war at the age of 14 or 12 or whatever the fuck you are. I'm guessing somewhere around there because you clearly still listen to what your pop music tells you.
I mean what do you work for time magazine? No! Your opinion is void. We get it: people die during war. Boo hoo. Few people if any were drafted for the Iraq war. Our "young people" are not dying in the desert without seeing it coming.
And by the way, few of them are dying at all except the ones stupid enough to program their own coordinates into the missile launcher rather than their target five miles away.
I recommend this. Go into your room. Take down your pop music posters. Don't protest the fact that what you listen to is pop because you're like 11 and you have no opinion until you have a penis. Unless you're a chick, in which case same goes for growing boobs.
Take down your posters. They'll just distract you and you'll end up writing a tribute poem to their emotional depth. Which will rhyme bad with sad, me with be, and no with go. Genius.
Write down in a large LARGE notebook all your thoughts about the war. Now have all your friends and all your peers and all your teachers and all your acquaintances and all their acquaintances do the same.
Meet together somewhere. Work out a system by which you cross out every thought that has already been said by the majority of the group. I wouldn't be surprised if you had anything left after all had been said and done.
All you people who think that war is bad simply because you've been told so: You are entitled to an opinion once you know what's going on.
Don't try to feed me horseshit in response to this saying anything about 9/11. That would instantly disqualify you from every single intellectual discussion that will ever be held. Those responsible for 9/11 have almost all been dealt with and clearly this isn't about that.
Its five years later and we've already made a movie about that day. Clearly we're over it to the point where we can be entertained by that "tragedy", so 9/11 is already not a factor.
And that is why I am right and you are wrong.

Yes, because everyone knows if you hold a popular opinion, there's absolutely no way you could have made up your mind for yourself.
Anyone who does not know the English (well, American, the people who speak correct English in this country are the minority, and I do not include myself in that group) language, got straight C's in college, and has a DUI on their record should not be the president. Well sonny, the world is a far more complex place than you too realize. The rights guaranteed us by the constitution are still in force as the result of over 200 years of a complex system of warefare, diplomacy, economic hegemony, etc. etc.
Morons like you that spout off about how we owe all our freedoms to the people in uniform have tiny narrow little minds. It does take the military to keep us free. But it takes a lot more than that.
