It's been a long time coming, but Rancid is reformed and going on tour.
I don't CARE if you don't like Rancid, I don't care if you think they 'sold out', I don't really give two shits about your opinion right now, if I were you, I probably wouldn't even rate this if I didn't have information to share.
I'm seriously about to come. This is some of the best news on the music front I have heard in months, and I just don't know what to do with myself...
... besides beat off, that is.

this post sucked ass.
I saw rancid in front of about 300 people in the black hills of south dakota around 1995. fucking incredible show especially to enjoy them with such a small audience. Before they were in Rancid I was ahuge fan of Operation Ivy. you seem like a young pole smoker so if you're unfamiliar with OpIvy you should check them out. find em on lookout records I think.

Rancid's had a show on XM Satellite Radio (Channel 53 - Fungus) for a while now. Show's called 'Rancid Radio'. They were getting a lot of 'get on stage again already, you bastards' type emails.
So, they used to be remarkable, then they broke up and disappeared, then they DJd other band's stuff on the radio, and now there's a reunion tour. More "Oy!" than "Oi!", that sounds. Even so, I never heard 'em play a Green Day cut on their radio show. Gotta respect that.

I agree. Everyone thinks it's weird or un-Rancid, but it's a good album.
I listened to it while celebrating 4/20, great mood music with the reggae influences coming in so strong.
