In a small Ohio village there was a family who gave birth to their second child, A
beautiful boy named Mike. This young man was raised well by his family, but some of the
things that he was taught didn't register in his mind.
The problem Mike developed first came about at the age of six when he went to the
store with his mother. While his mother got items needed in the house little Mike explored
the store and came across the toy aisle. Being a young boy he felt the need to expand upon
his Matchbox car collection on every trip to the store. Finding the car of this trip he
runs up to his mother with excitement and tells her how much he needs this car.
Mike's family was not poor, nor where they wealthy, just well off. A simple
inexpensive toy such as a Matchbox Car would not burden the budget of the family, but
Mike's mother knew that her child need not be spoiled to be happy. She gently tells her
son that he doesn't need another toy today, and he should be happy with all that he has.
Mike knowing not to make mother mad walks away with little fight, proceeding to return the
car to the aisle it belonged to.
Walking towards the toy aisle he watches as a teenage boy slips several Matchbox
cars into his pockets and walks out the door without paying. Mike decides he can have the
car after all, and he didn't need his mother to get what he wanted. Not being greedy he
slips the toy into his pocket, only taking the one he really wanted. He runs back over to
mommy and walks with her to pay for her groceries.
As he loads into the car and buckles his seatbelt he realized he would no longer
need his mother to get what he wants from life, this is where it all began..............

Short, sweet, to the point.
Yay, +2.
Keep the tone and tempo, and I'll keep supplying the +2s.
