My chick left me recently. She's pregnant and I don't know if it's mine. She an atrention-grabbing whore and, although I know the baby is mine, she denys it now that we flew her 800 miles back home...here's the real letter I sent her recently...some girls better wake the fuck up.

I have every legal right to subpoena that child's DNA and, if it's mine, you had better pray if you want to keep it. Oh it turned out she wrote me an email saying it wasn't mine the whole time and then, a couple weeks later, called my mother and convinced her to pay for tthe abortion without me knowing any the wiser. My mother invited me over for dinner and explained the entire situation to me. I was fuming pissed and screaming.
Then I went home and drank heavily. I woke up yesterday with a killer hangover and all is well now.

I'm sorry you're going through this and it's obvious this was written in anger, but two things strike me:

I imagine that was more of a mutual decision, and BOTH of you should have thought, no? I know it's too late for that, but it won't help either of you to throw it around.

DO NOT use your child as a pawn in a relationship. Your issue with the mother is one thing, but abusive situations aside, it is wrong to deny a child some relationship with his parent based on issues that don't apply to the child, but to you.
I mean no disrespect, but it's not acceptable for women to use these arguments, and it's no more fair for you. Sounds like you will be the better parent, so best not to comment in such a way she can use it against you. It seems you want to do the right thing, best of luck that it turns out as well as possible. Godspeed.

already have recieved the legal advice on this and i can't get an order for DNA until the child's born. as far as drinking and smoking is concerned, i have no power over it now that she's 800 miles away staying with her exboyfriend. she also grabbed the tylenol PMs out of my medicine cabinet when she packed. found that out today.
fucking sucks...but I am trying to keep my head screwed on right. Better at least ONE of us is thinking clearly. I'm not worried about her in the least. I just want to be able to raise my child in a stable environment and that's only going to be without her living with me. she called me tonight with this whole "thinking about you and i love you" bullshit. I said "okay." then got off the phone.

Dude, take the baby and shut her outta your life. NO EXCEPTIONS. Do NOT give her another chance. Women like this thrive off conflict and they aren't worth worrying about. She sounds like a few women I've known, and you just gotta get yourself to say "Fuck her and her fucked up emotions." Sounds cruel; yes....but you'll soon meet someone else and get over her. She sounds like the type that cuts herself and then calls someone and cries and all that goodness. The child is whats important and should be the ONLY thing you worry about. If you let this broad back into your life, she'll only do it again. Think of the child and your own mental health. Male parental rights are very hard to gain without evidence that the child will be at serious risk (usually physical risk). Fight at EVERY damned turn to see this kid if it is yours, because if she does fuck up the judge will see that you are eager to be a good father and take an active role in your child's life.
