why are people so fucking STUPID?
surely as a modern society we've progressed beyond Neanderthal chest beating and violence to show our emotions?
Surely we can accept responsibility for our own actions these days?
it seems not.
if I'm walking down stairs and I slip and break my ankle, I think " man, I'm one un-coordinated retard" then limp around until it mends.
I don't sue the council for whatever stupid reason, I don't seek a payout. I just deal with it and get on with my life.
Today in the paper I saw articles on some riots in western Sydney. or to be more specific, the free housing commission areas of western Sydney. truly the creme of high society in Sydney I don't think.
It seems that 2 guys were trying to outrun the cops FOR DOING SOMETHING ILLEGAL and while being chased, they crashed and died. what does the community do? why riot of course.

The riot situation sound familiar? The same thing happened to that kid in Redfern, except he was on a pushbike. but then it was aboriginal discrimination & racism.
for fucks sake when will people realise, if you live an honest life, there's no NEED for the police to chase you. there's no need to even FEAR the police if you're a DECENT HUMAN BEING.

I am so with you here, I can't even bring myself to rate you down for spelling and grammar because it somehow increases the sense of outrage in the post.
I remember the last riots we had in London (sorry, I can't for life on me remember the name of the area, it's right on the tip of my tongue) where a whole bunch of police were beaten to death. I remember watching a documentary on it and getting pretty upset over it. Our police don't even carry guns, and they were ripped apart by an angry mob for no reason other than for being police.
Fucking apes in this country. Everything you hear about British yobs, it's mainly true. Get a bunch of chavs, give them some beer and a lot of backup and they revert back to the stone age.

True.
But even though I live a rather "conformist" life and even if riots are indeed stupid (most of the time), I think they're healthy for a society. It reminds the people in charge that the people are still capable. I know this sounds dumb and punk-like, but to me it's needed in the balance.

Yeah, I'm with that guy. The kids name was Devin Brown. Let me give you the whole story:
Devin Brown is a young black kid living in Los Angeles California. One night, about two weeks ago, he and a friend of his steal a car. This is around 4:00 AM. They take the car for a joyride when the they cruise through a redlight and two officers happen to see this. The cops signal them, they run, and the cops persue them. Presumebly because Devin Brown is a retard, while on this chase he runs his car up onto the sidewalk. The other kid runs out of the car. The cops stop their car behind Devin's car. Devin starts to back up into the cop's car, and in response, one cop, Garcia, fires ten rounds into Devin's stolen car, hitting him between four and five times.
Let's go through this again.
4:00 AM.
Two Black Kids.
Stolen Car.
Run Red Light.
Run From Cops.
Try to hit cops.
If you were a cop, you'd do the same fucking thing. The whole community has expressed deep outrage over what the cops did to Brown, and have consoled his mother. This woman should be jailed. She raised a piece of shit, and if he didn't die this year, he going to die next year. Probably the same way too; getting shot. No one cares that this kid is breaking about five laws. They just want special treatment. Of course I think it's sad that he died, I wouldn't have asked for it, but now that it happened, does anyone have the right to be surprised.
I for one say that the cop who shot Brown didn't do anything wrong. His mother did.

We just had the same thing in the States. Some little LA punk kid of 14 stole a car and tried to run down a cop, so the cop filled his ass fill of lead. Of course, who is everyone pissed at? The cop that was nearly run down.
