While most people here at Uber love to bicker and fight over which band/artist/group/twatever is their favorite or best, I think a good topic of discussion will be the worst band ever. Which band makes you nauseous each and everytime you hear their stupid single? Which person makes you want to stuff your ears with fireworks rather than listen to their album?
For right now, my vote goes to the Backstreet Boys. No one has ushered in a worse era of music than these five nancy boys. I'm sure you people will have some equally as terrible nominations. Hell, maybe we'll even have a vote to crown the worst band ever.

Oh man, did I ever laugh at that reply. Worst imitation of a band ever...thats awsome. My pick has got to be Simple Plan though. Usually, I can make it through a song that I don't like, but their stuff is just too much bullshit.

Depressingly enough, I actually owned that poster. My brother gave it to me on my 14th or 15th birthday and I actually think I was happy about it, or at least not pissed at him. I think it's still on the back of my door back home in Massachusetts, but I'm not sure...every time I go back my family has thrown out or moved some more of my stuff.
I get all cringe-y when I look at pictures like that one...I definitely had a point of my life when I thought they were the shit. And now I look at it and think "sweaters and...SILVER TRACKSIES? Oh dear God, the humanity."

It's a tie between Jet, The White Stripes and System of a Down. Serj may just be the biggest douchebag in the universe, if not for John Edwards of course. Then again, every time I hear a fucking Jet song come on the radio, blood shoots from my ears and I end up killing every living thing within a twelve-block radius.

I tried to leave out bands from the 21st century because they have time to NOT suck...although in the case of NFG and Good Charlotte, probably not enough time.
You could fill up an encyclopedia with bands who suck from the last 4 years.

A lot of people beat down on the backstreet boys because of the popular sentiment of hatred they receive from males. But their vocal ability and lyrical content are the same as other bands (or genres) that are well respected. It is usually the homophobe who must shout some comment like: "Oh god they are so fucking gay." so they can be more secure infront of other guys.
