This morning I read something that pissed me off:

Some clown that the great state of California saw fit to call to the bar is suing Yahoo. Stephen Galton, a California lawyer, says Yahoo did nothing to protect him from being harassed other users. Basically this amounts to someone suing Ubersite for another user saying mean things to them (which of course never happens here).
How it all started was when Galton posted some messages on an Internet message board trying to defend a client who was being criticized by the message board's posters. As you might expect, these posters took exception and called him names and probably questioned his penis size. According to Galton, he was subject to a "barrage of harassing, defamatory and abusive messages".
Give me a break. I get a "barrage of harassing, defamatory and abusive messages" on a regular basis from my friends, girlfriend and even family. Anyway, he asked Yahoo to give him the personal details (name, address) of the culprits. When Yahoo refused, he started a class-action lawsuit.
Now I doubt this will go anywhere. Even in the "United States of Litigation" there is enough common sense to not shoot the messenger in such a case. But the fact remains that this lawyer is threatening the hallmark of the Internet: the ability to randomly criticize people and make fun of their penis size.
I'm not suggesting that anyone spam this guy's e-mail account or crank call his office, but I thought I would post a link to the law firm website so that anyone here who feels abused on the Internet can contact Mr. Galton and join his class action:

That's such a crock of bullshit. It isn't as if he was cornered in an alley getting abused. Did it ever occur to that mongoloid that he could just turn his computer off to stop the abuse? Any sensible judge should throw this suit out.
