I'm moving out on my own in a few days.
As I was finishing packing today, I realised there were at least a hundred crows on my neighbours lawn.
They've since moved to my backyard, and it's now raining mildly.
I saw a little one struggling to stay on the flimsyest (sp?) branch, and a squirrel, kicked out of his tree, scurrying along my fence.
I was holding my kitten on the window sill so he could get a good, safe(for the birds) view.
Life is beautiful.
I can't think of a better goodbye.

That's funny, Loren.
When I reread this just now I heard children playing, laughter, 100 cats purring, and gentle rainfall on a tin roof.
No violins.
Anywayssssss......

My neighbour just swung at his tree with a detatched drain pipe.
Typical.
I thought you were a sentimental idiot until I saw that. Now I love you - want to have my babies?

Wow man. I love when stuff like that happens. Just, sitting by the window with some Floyd on, holding my cat, watching wild animals outside in a light rain...
I hope your moving to a good place. Post some pics.

Oh, sorry Tammy, that was me out there, the tree was saying some pretty nasty shit...
Good post though, it made me remember how cool it is to be doing something new.
