I'm late, but I'm bored, so here it is.
1. At this moment in your life what is most important to you?
It may seem cliche, but my family and friends. I would really like a big girl job and to make better money than I do now, but if I had those things and no family, I'd be miserable.
2. Have you ever had a poem, story (no shout out posts or uberhate stories) or song written about you?
Yes. A really close friend of mine wrote a poem in high school about his pain and past disappearing when he saw his subject smile. At his wake a year later, his caseworker asked to speak to me, handed me copies of his poetry and told me this particular one was about me. I vaguely remembered him showing it to me after he'd written it, I couldn't remember how I'd received it and felt bad. I still do.
3. Must see TV?
I work odd shifts, so I can't see shows regularly. I do like watching The Ultimate Fighter, which is weird for me as I never liked fighting OR reality TV before.
4. What is the best Halloween costume you've ever worn? Are you dressing up this year?
I think my best costume was this year's, which was recycled and tweaked from a few years ago. I went as Mia Wallace from Pulp Fiction, complete with giant syringe poking out from my chest. I think my laziest effort was one of my best: a party where we had to show up as our favourite drink. I slapped on a sticker that said "Hello, my name is: HARVEY" and ran into walls.

I don't think a day goes by where I don't feel awkward. The one that springs to mind was several years ago when I was riding in a car with a few people. A good friend was driving, my boyfriend at the time was in the backseat with someone I didn't know terribly well. We were all trading jokes and I told a racist one (everyone's a little bit racist). I found out later that the acquaintance in the back was half black. She didn't seem to care, but I felt like a huge asshole anyway.

Daphne from Scooby Doo.. Brought my dog I had at the time (a lurcher) as scooby. And didn't dress up this year - was having a party in an old folks home (don't ask)

Yes, in it I fictionally killed my wife with a phone cord. After it was written people kept asking her if she was ok and if she needed a place to hide. I was understandably not amused by this.

Well one morning years and years ago my mother came over to our house early to wake me up. At this point the wife and I had been together a couple of years. She let herself in, started some coffee and when it was ready brought me a cup in bed and woke me up.
I thanked her got up threw on my robe and went to the bathroom, leaving the cup on a table in the hall. After I had relieved myself I went back to the bedroom. The wife was sitting on the edge of the bed wearing only a smile. Within a few seconds my darling wife had a nice mouthful of something tender and fleshy.
This went on for about three minutes until out of the blue with no warning at all Mom opens the bedroom door and barges right in to bring me my left behind cup of coffee. The look on her face almost made it worth it. I valiantly leaped behind the dresser. The wife could not stop laughing. Mom turned red and fled the room.

About a year ago I was buying tampons from the local grocery store, and there was a young male cashier. Since I grew up with my Dad, I've always been pretty squeamish about buying tampons...my Dad never wanted to hear about that "female nonsense" and so it always embarrassed me having to ask him to take me to the store to pick them up when I was a teenager...I suppose it just stuck with me. Anyway, the tampons didn't register a price when the cashier attempted to scan them. He ended up paging some backup to come help him, and before long there were three people in the register, not to mention a growing line of people I was too ashamed to look at behind me. I'm sure my face was as red as a beet. Flustered and mortified, I ended up just muttering, "nevermind...I'll go somewhere else" before I booked it out of there. To this day I rarely go to that grocery store.

I won't lie. I like these things.
1. At this moment in your life what is most important to you? ----This *exact moment* right now? My dvd player. I just spent $170 on the Battlestar Galactica series and I'm faux praying to god that my dvd player runs.

Yourself? hahaha' before you smile at them and throw a drink at them.

About 5 years ago, an old lady, who happens to be a family friend, lost her husband of 45 years to lung cancer and he was cremated. A few days after the funeral, I saw her in the street and asked if there was anything I could do, and she said yes. She had just had a photo of her late husband blown up and framed, and she wanted somebody to hang it up over the mantel piece. I offered, and just as I was making sure the picture was straight, the bastard picture hook broke and the frame fell down and hit the urn that had recently taken centre stage on the mantel.
There was ash and broken glass everywhere.

Ok - So I realized my answer for awkward situation was a little weak and I was thinking about it and remembered a truly awkward situation.
around 2004 or 2005, I was in my local mall with my girlfriend at the time - we had done our shopping and were preparing to leave- the parking structure is joined to the mall via a 2nd floor catwalk and we were proceeding to the car, so we take the elevator up and I get a funny notion. I depress the emergency stop between floors (girls like spontenaety, right?)and we well... you know. so all is well for about 5-7 minutes when the elevator starts moving again (uh oh - busted) so we scramble to make ourselves presentable and I had just finished buttoning my pants when the elevator doors open and we are face to face with two approximately 19 year old security guards who look at us for abut 15 seconds before breaking into riotous laughter. Redfaced my girlfriend and I begin walking quickly for the exit. only noticing a minute or two later that we are being followed. maybe 10 feet from the door one of them (security), having regained his composure, catches up and informs me that I am no longer welcome in that mall and that if I come back they will call the police. typically this would have made me angry but given the circumstance, somehow I just understood - I never liked that mall or malls in general and now had a perfect excuse to decline whenever she wanted to go to the mall ever after. All in all it worked out about as well as it could have especially since I live in california and if the security really wanted to be bastards they could have contacted the police (the cops even have a kiosk in that mall) and had me arested for any number of B.S. charges which would have labeled me a sex offender, a situation which would have really ruined my life. Dumb, yeah. Lucky, yeah that too. A hell of a memory though.

Tie-up between Neo and Austin Powers. Leaning towards Austin Powers on this one. The biggest reaction I ever had, though, was when I cross-dressed for Halloween when I was at the peak of my physical shape during wrestling season. Women dig a guy dressed in drag.
