The Uberground echoes with the thunder of the last round. Great battles were fought and hard won. The outcomes of these two straightforward contests of tooth and claw, some will say, were affected by barbs tossed in from among the clamoring throng gathered in the Arena, but at the end of the day, two mighty combatants remain and two powerful fighters have fallen.
The winner of this final round will have placed upon their bloodied pate the Mantle of Gruemaster, and will unlive on another year. The vanquished will join their comrades in the netherworld.
You who will fight: Midnight Thursday is your deadline to bring your weapons to bear. The Judgement will occur at Midnight Friday. On Saturday, All Hollow's Eve, will the next Gruemaster be named!

Ok, so here is a comment from the peanut gallery.
Anyone who looks at my profile information can see that I am new here and in that light I have no right to speak on this matter. Be that as it may; submitted for your review is my humble opinion.
This contest has been an incredible experience for me. I have not seen a single entry that has not made an impression on me in one way or another. Each and every participant has shown astounding talent.
The source of the issues everyone seems to be so frustrated with is simply the forum. Ok, admittedly, that fucking sucks. It sucks that you can't have a contest in which there is perfect faith to an unbaised outcome. This should have been anticipated. Uber is a come one come all type messageboard (Uber is much more than that to me - but for lack of a better term)and therefore there are precious few controls implemented against trolls, linkwhores and alternate User ID's. Additionally, in my opinion there is no such thing as an unbiased forum anywhere in the world, there have been and will be a great many best effort gestures (such as Uber) but in the end it is as in life. It is unfair.
Congratulations to all participants in the contest and an especially hearty congratulations to those of you who poured your heart onto the page.

I wouldn't actually do anything untoward, of course, since being the author of his music is worse punishment than anything I could dream up. Add to that the undeniable fact that if there's a Hell, it's sitting in a juice bar on a Saturday afternoon listening to Billy Joel music and it's easy to see that Billy Joel is even now just waiting for someone to come along and shove an entire grand piano into his chest cavity so he can stop existing in the living hell of being the author of his music and get on over to the juice bar by the weekend.

I looked into what those requirements are, and I found a priority list for vaccine recipients http://www.ncsl.org/?TabId=18061 Note that pregnant women have highest priority, those over 65 have the lowest priority, and otherwise healthy non-medical-worker 25-65yos are not anywhere on the list. Another item of note is that the normal Federal Medicaid rules allow illegal immigrants access to emergency care but *not* vaccines. That is one of the "Federal requirements" that can now be bypassed. There's a very limited supply of the vaccine available. The sentence following this one is paranoid, ridiculous, and could never actually happen under a government that is as concerned with the preservation of American soveriegnty and security as Obama's clearly is, I'm sure. Put these together and you can see that a pregnant illegal immigrant will get the vaccine shot that your 8yo American-born kid should have gotten. PARANOID!! RIDICULOUS!! CAN'T HAPPEN!!

Joe's point, to belabor the obvious, was that a couple of jerks caused a ruckus. Jack wrote better than his competitor, and said competitor will admit that. I agree with regards to the reviews. I knew it came down to the # of reviews but I thought it would be # of reviews by different users. This though, may have prompted users to create alternate accounts - god knows...this site IS ridiculous that way.
Maybe next year you could have something like reviews done by user and only ratings by people with 3+ posts count...or something...I don't know. Hindsight is always 20-20 but I have to give you credit Skraps for being so definitive with your answers.

put aside the fact that if you take the 3: i didn't read it, you cheated and baby's -2 (self-explanitory) -2's, jack has a perfect +2
now take away the 24 double/triple reviews from the same person(s) and comments from the author (tu-tu) and you have a 36 review for jack and a 24 review for tu-tu
but yet, i understand...to win, one needs to answer every fucking review on his/her submission

(1) Obama got a regular flu shot, but not H1N1. He is waiting until there is more supply available.
Noble gesture or a 'let's wait and see if it starts fucking people up' ploy?
(2) Older people are more resistant to the swine flu. Doctors think it MAY have something to do with the fact that they have spent a lifetime building up NATURAL IMMUNITY.
