All of those things are rubbish with the exception of MacGuyver and cocaine and those were both around in the '70s.
People are diverse though. Some people don't like seinfeld and/or are serial killers for instance.

People shouldn't be allowed to be born in 1994 and have succesful careers already. It makes me feel very old and I am a young man! You know, I bet I wouldn't have been so disadvantaged if I hadn't been born in the '80s. The '80s were rubbish.

What about Freddie Mercury's final years and LiveAID, no wait, that actually sucked, so forget that one, what about de-regulation of industry and a return to pollution and corruption like we hadn't seen since the Industrial Revolution? No, guess that sucked too.
In all, I'd say the 80's were......pretty much like any other decade in history, unfortunately we werent' born privelaged little white girls with connections in the movie business.
