He walked into my peripheral vision and the rest of the world grew dark. The sun, slung low in the western corner of the sky and shining with the day's last fervor, slipped abruptly below the horizon. Shrill horns and drowsy conversation converged into a deep, vibratory hum that set my skin ablaze. I trembled in his presence, and in my brief yet wild awe looked upon the face of god.
His skin became a milk-white backdrop for dark features: coal eyes furrowed in a heavy brow, a well defined nose, a shade of stubble cast about his jaw. The hollows in his cheeks formed parentheses around an underscore of a mouth, clenched tightly shut but somehow violently erotic because of the things I knew it could do to me. There was a mole angled downward from his right eye. Chocolate locks framed his forehead, ears, and nape, and even darker hair extended to the lateral portion of his tensely veined forearms. I imagined trailing my fingers up one of those arms, relieving the tautness and travelling upward still until I could wind them into his hair and force his mouth onto mine. A white t-shirt hugged his torso and revealed a slender yet wiry frame which pulsated and quaked under the intensity of my stare. Though he swaggered in my direction, he refused to meet my gaze.
I stood still as stone, leaning without breath onto the hood of my car. My every cell anticipated his approach, and my body ached and contested our shrinking distance. I could hear his footsteps growing louder, beating out a rhythm against the droning still present in my ears. He veered right; I panicked and grew nauseous in my yearning. The footsteps ceased. My innards revoked their protest as I realized he was now standing five feet to my left.
"You wanna get out of here?" He intoned, returning sound, light, breath and sensation to my world with the utterance of a simple question. I could not yet speak, but a nod sufficed and we turned back toward his car in tandem. I gravitated to him more closely with each step until our arms were brushing together. He leaned into the touch but maintained a refusal for eye contact. I watched his wet mouth instead.
I soon found myself being guided into the passenger side of an old pickup. He took up position behind the wheel, and before turning the keys offered me a cigarette. I gladly accepted, and allowed him to light it for me. His hand then moved to my thigh as he began backing out, lines of concentration appearing on his forehead while the cigarette wagged between his loosely parted lips. We made our way out of the packed parking lot, his hand exploring my thigh, and then my hip, and then my waist. I let my head fall back and watched the smoke curl up as it kissed the ceiling and then disappeared.
Somewhere behind us, there was a fantastic flash of light and an ethereal boom as the store I'd been working in mere minutes before collapsed to the ground like a house of cards. Absorbed though I was in my tactile pleasures, my head sprang back sharply and my expression registered utter shock. His did not. As he watched the building combust from the intersection in his rearview mirror, refusing to spare it a parting glance, he took a drag. Slowly and deliberately he tilted his head toward mine. He met my eyes at last.
"I bet you're glad you came with me, huh?"
Ignoring the overwhelming scent of propane on his t-shirt and the adrenaline rush that can only accompany fear, I leaned in, returned his stare, and pressed my lips against his.

I've always secretly wanted to be the Bonnie to someone's Clyde.
I also like rape fantasies, coffee, and long walks on the beach.
Ha!

Hahaha! I know it's garrish, isn't it?
Maybe my sexual frustration induced wordplay experiments are better left to the penthouse letters.

-0.5 for making me read lines like this...
"I trembled in his presence"
"The hollows in his cheeks formed parentheses around an underscore of a mouth, clenched tightly shut but somehow violently erotic because of the things I knew it could do to me."
"My every cell anticipated his approach, and my body ached and contested our shrinking distance."
...with my inner dialog deal.

I included De Niro's picture because the male character's appearance was based on him.
And Loki, I simply cannot take that as a compliment. :-)

This was a good little read. Could benefit from a tad more rape though.
Is that picture (with a lame filename BTW) from Taxi Driver?

I just had this really weird dream that Michael Jackson died.
Then I woke up and realised I didn't care.
Nice post BTW.
