Hausdorff spaces are the least ghey.

Since given any two points, you can find balls around the points not touching.

Any non-Hausdorff space, balls are touching.

Wish I had a audio clip of my friend screaming "balls, balls, balls" after five hours of doing topology homework. Sadly I do not. Here are a bunch of worthless pics that you've already seen.

I am also a big fan of topology, and am the proud owner of numerous Klein bottles.

As for the Topology-Balls connection, recall the Hairy Ball Theorem (sometimes referred to as the Hairy Coconut Theorem). Or for the Real Analysis - Balls connection, recall the Baire Category Theorem, from which it follows that any Banach space has balls.

However sometime past the point of basic homology and cohomology, and right around the point of spectral sequences, no amount of balls can make you laugh your way through whatever text you're reading.

"Balls, balls, balls, balls, balls, balls, balls, balls, balls, balls."

That's a line from a great poem, written in iambic pentameter except for one line that I screwed up. Don't worry, though. I'll correct it before I submit it for eventual publication.

I've never seen any of the photos. Love the Ta Da thing.

And *sigh* is right.

Good show. Good show.
