What makes Jade Goody so special?

At she didn't make like Kinga and shove a wine bottle up her crack.
The whole ethos of people becoming celebrities just because they were not celebrities in the first place is a hard concept to grasp.
The fact that geniuses like Mr Cowell (I use the term 'genius' not because of his intellectual capacity, more for his undeniable ability to make money as if he were an alchemist) have to resort to auditioning hundreds of thousands of people on various reality shows highlights either a) the lack of genuine talent available or b) the talent seekers have become to lazy to seek talent and will just let it come to them.

Get fucked. Plenty of celebrities have died while Uber has been in existence and no one shed a tear about the kids before. What makes Jade Goody so special? Because she was married to someone in jail? Because she made repeated racist bullying comments when on the television?
The cult of the idiot celebrity is well and truly alive isn't it? Jade Goody has now been praised for making more women check their cervixes. Well that's just fine, but she only did that after she was diagnosed with cancer. How exactly is that a particularly wonderful thing? I'm sure Maddox wrote something similar about Christopher Reeve (whose youngest son was 12 when he died).
Princess Diana (who I wasn't a particular fan of) promoted clearance of landmines and a ban on their sale and she hadn't had her legs blown off.
And finally, spacker, I quoted John Donne below and expressed how his sentiments matched my own. What magazine are you writing for? OK?
Nothing special about Jade Goody at all. She was certainly no saint. And I'm not playing this 'look at the idiot, isn't it cute?' game that has made a woman who was so offensive that the bloody Prime Minister had to apologise to a whole nation over her conduct.

well personally, I feel very sad. She was...well..... not exactly smart but the world is made up of many different people and it would be ridiculous and shallow to only appreicate scholars of the world.
Either way she had a quality that I do not possess. Motherhood. The fact that she died on Mothers Day is poignant in a way.
