I'm not of the opinion that I "deserve" MVA. I've been here (dear jebus) five years and still haven't crossed the 100th post threshold. I don't post often, but I do try to bring the quality when I post.
Besides, have you seen some of my early posts? RUBBISH. Complete and utter crap.
Once upon a time, a few MVA-ers made sure to post once per day, even if they had nothing at all to say. In this way, they thought, they could maintain that top ten spot. I find this practice to be, in a word, wank. Of course, with a constant surge of new posts, there is always something to read; so perhaps there was some merit to it.
Regardless, I have a long list of things I'd like to see happen in my lifetime, and a short list of things that must happen. Sure, MVA would be cool and all, but it really doesn't rank with what I'm working on.

'Preciate the thought, K-K, but I'm not MVA material. You have to post a lot and I just haven't that much to say (that's interesting enough to stay on the front page). Example: Axolotl. Kid got here a few months before me, has posted almost 400 times (mostly about things that people found interesting), racked up 620K+ hits, and is MVA. That's how you do it.
