We come to a sum
That two by two we are four.
But staring at a gun
Held by a drum
I will likely hit the floor.
If by four and three
I come to seven
I did not lose my best sight.
The time has past, see
I welcome heaven
And it was just my best night.
Not too fast, aye six
Is the eye of nine
That gives me a failed dry tear.
And high bye five dicks
I failed to decline;
hie must I in the highest gear.
Oh no! I fear eight,
let us not say ten
dear friend, I am about dead.
I have cleaned my slate
I am hung like a hen;
alas, I woke up in bed.
