Please accept me into your illustrious web forum so I can be happy and complete.
Anyone have any good suggestions for activities to do during x-mas to New Year's as I have that entire week and then some off. I would like to travel but inexpensively so if you know of any good touristy type of things to do within VA let me know.

To any of you hockey followers. What the fuck did Avery do so wrong by saying that other hockey players enjoy his sloppy seconds? Is that worth suspension? Speaking of suspension, I got suspended in the 5th grade for throwing a banana peel at the back of my teachers head. Her name was Mrs. Salter and she deserved it. That was the 3rd time I got suspended that year. I didn't like the middle school I was in...it had to many spics in it.

I got high last night and almost wrote a really brutal short story where criminals are tried on a wacky, japanese-esque game show, where they die horrible deaths attempting to perform impossible tasks.
I toasted some boiled eggs with cheese and hot sauce on them instead and went to sleep.

This was at a crab soup party that was sponsored by adults the likes of 50's and older. The cups were a convenience only.
And that isn't a tarp, it's one of those rental tents.
The crab soup is so fucking yummy...peeling the backs off crabs while they are live, waiting 4-6 hours before the batch is done...yes, yummy.

the only time i ever got suspended was when some fat kid sat next to me and another guy on the bus in the fifth grade on the way back from a field trip, i told him to move because there wasnt enough room for all three of us and there were other empty seats, he was obviously just being a douchebag, so we beat the everloving shit out of him while everyobdy else watched.
i almost got suspended in 12th grade after my geology teacher told me to change out of a shirt that had a miller logo on it (it was a BREWERS SHIRT wtf) and i refused and told him to fuck off. i didnt have anything else to wear. he shoved me, i shoved him, and we almost got in a fistfight until he realized he would have been instantly killed and i realized i would get expelled. i walked out of class before it escalated any more. he still failed me, the faggot, even though i got an A on the final. i hated him.

LOL Silvr. I actually LOVE Smith Mountain Lake. My roommate and his friends go there every summer.
I used to live in Lynchburg for a total of 7 years...went to LU, actually (and if you can survive LU you can survive anything, IMHO) and then worked for a few years after I graduated.
I liked Roanoke...Bedford was podunk for sure, but I loved the Blue Ridge Parkway. I used to go there almost every Sunday and either hike or just drive on the Parkway. I miss it, to tell you the truth. :)

OH yeah, another fun thing to do is go to Crabtree Falls. Of course, it's funner in warmer months because the thing to do there is to jump off the 30 foot rocks into quarries, but you could still do that, I guess.

My bad...you're right, Silvr. Sharp Top is on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Bedford. I used to hike that mountain all the time. Flat Top is the highest mountain in the Bedford area. Mt. Rogers is near Lebanon...my bad.

Mt. Rogers = 5729 ft. above sea level
Sharp Top = 3875 ft.
Sharp Top is still great, though, as is pretty much everything associated with the Peaks of Otter. The winery there has fantastic tours. It's one of my favorite day trips, along with cruising the Blue Ridge Parkway.
SI, come to Roanoke County and climb Dragon's Tooth. I won't even threaten to meet you there.
