Are there actually people who watch dancing with the stars? if so I am proud that they function well enough to afford a T.V.
When I am high and hear a song for the first time that song stays stuck in my head for days.
I took a real I.Q. test and now I am positive that they are slanted to give the testee a higher score than the person's actual intelligence quotient, this is a recent thought of mine and it stems from my comparing of my uber submissions to other uber submissions.
On a similar note, I am sure that the average I.Q. of the people who use this site regularly would be higher than an average I.Q. at a MENSA meeting.
It is easier for minors to obtain marijuana than alcohol, that's not to say that it isn't easy to obtain alcohol.
While reading about the things that happened on this site I usually think that I don't want to be a part of this site. But I usually get bored and end up coming back here.

Most of the people here are (reasonably) intelligent.

I hate when people use unwieldy words in an attempt to make themselves seem more articulate and intellectual.
Unwieldy is an unwieldy word.
I will rarely say anything over three syllables because I find that being comprehendible is better than being intellectually untouchable.
I used to love playing chess, but after elementary school, no one knew how to play and so I rarely get to.
That is a shame considering the amazingly expensive chess set my aunt gave me for Christmas when I was 10.
My parents explained to me that is was 'for show' and that I should use my plastic one.
That didn't really make sense to me. What is the point of having a thing if one can't use it for its purpose?

I know that just because one considers themselves smart doesn't actually mean that they are but I really feel that the average user here is smarter than the average human. People might say things that sound stupid but that doesn't really mean that they are, you just have to look at the thought process behind the statement and then make a decision.

If you think you are smart, where it be an internet IQ test or you were top of the class in school, it's best not to act like you think that way. People in social situations don't really take to it.
No one likes the person that corrects them, 'Well actually you'll find that it's pronounced....' and no one likes the person that one up's them 'Oh, you did that, well 'I' did this.....'
The only time you have to prove you have any brains at all, is when you can have a decent conversation about opinions and not break into arguement.

well i was trying to comment on both of your ideas at once, i guess I'm sorry that i assumed that you were laughing at the same thing as sandman was disagreeing with. It actually didn't take me that long to look the word up because I have this neat program on my computer that looks up a word when you right click and press control. It might come as a suprise to you but I often need to look words up so that program comes in handy. Honestly I don't think I'm smart, honestly I am completely unsure about how smart I am, i just know I am somewhere in the "above average" range.
