Well I'm sorry to hear that. Mine were not that nasty. I just walked away and gave everything away, because in one case there were kids involved and I did not want to hurt them, and in the other it was best I just got the fuck out before someone wound up dead...most likely me.
At any rate, in the county I live in, the courts ALWAYS side with the woman. NO MATTER WHAT. Unless you're a crack head or something.

You make it sound like I sucked my ex dry. On the contrary, mine lost his job, refused to get another one, proceeded to live off me (who was working 2 jobs + school), take out credit cards in my name, max them out, refused to pay on them, shoot my credit to hell, strung our divorce out for 2 years for the sole and stated purpose of "bitch, I'm going to see to it that by the time we're done, you'll be completely bankrupt and your inheritance from your grandmother is gone," and then SUED ME FOR ALIMONY (which he lost when a pissed of judge threw it out of court).
Regardless of the above, my divorce was the best thing that could have happened to me.
