A couple of my most recent pieces. The first is a photo frame I completed for a couple of friends for their marriage. the second is a 6" tall candle holder.

I suppose I see your point there scourge though I thinnk there's some difference considering my work will last quite a while, while the artist I made that remark about... his work will last till the rain or tide washes it away.

The frame was difficult to get a good picture of because the glass is an irid glass that shines in several different colors. mosaics rarely photo as well as they look in person.
I will work on commission, if you're seriously interested in buying something send me an email and let me know what you're looking for. if you're really serious what I'll eventually need is size, what sort of design you want, and what colors you might be looking for. Sadly since I do this in my "spare" time i never get ahead enough to have anything on hand to sell.

Have you ever tried doing a bust of some sort, like Cleopatra or something? You could use a plaster mold and a lady friend for the actual bust, and then use your glasswork to colorize it and make it all interesting and shit.
Oh, and I mean an actual bust, though some plaster and glass boobs would be pretty unique too.

I should mention that the photos show him with assistants since this was done for (I think) a health center, and they wanted more than just an old man doing everything and insisted that he get some young girls to help him...

These are very good - I especially like the candle holder.

The photos are just 6 of his works.
He does MASSIVE mosaics (entire walls, or two entire walls, even), in public works areas. His two biggest are located in a water-plant. He cuts the stones himself, places them himself, and rarely has help from anyone else. There was recently a documentary released about him titled 'A Fool's Dream.'
He also does many pen drawings, which are, unfortunately, more readily available through google image search than his beautiful mosaics.
