There is just something sad and pathetic about the cell parking lot at an airport. Something about this reminds me of a middle school dance. We're all just sort of hanging out here waiting for something to happen.
Some of us are sitting on these benches in a little common area, but most of us are just hanging out in our cars typing god only knows what on our phones.
There is this moment when someone gets 'the call' where they smirk at the crowd and smugly fire up their engines and take off.

I have been duped. I was told that this flight was going to land at 8;15.
(I can't find the fucking colon on this thing)
According to some flight info site I found the flight is not going to land for another 25 minutes. That is pretty much just enough time to go back to the house and come right back without actually getting out of the car.

Yes, this sucks.
However, last week 300 people had to sleep in the Sacramento Greyhound station on the floor for three freakin days!No blankets or food.When I heard about their plight, I was tempted to drive down there to the valley and grab somebodys cold hungry granny and bring her up here and sit her by the fireplace and hand her a cup of tea.
This urge to come to the aid of the stranded soon passed when I remembered my Jeep was in the shop.
WHEW.
When I travel by plane-train-or bus I always take a sleeping bag just in case.

uber is blocked at my work - the jack booted thugs
I can get to it via crackberry but its kind of a pain. I cruise by from time to time from home but after sitting at a computer all day I just don't really want to.
