Americans, this post contains information about an international sporting event. I'm aware that most of you don't understand the concept, but if you'd like to read on, don't be scared.

I know it doesn't count for anything; I know it means fuck all, but after watching another mind numbingly tedious England friendly on Wednesday, I'm excitedly anticipating what should be a great game tonight. You see friends, the mighty Scots are traveling to Prague this evening to take on a considerably more cowardly Czech Republic side which consists entirely of unconvincing transvestites and lady boys with long hair and ridiculous eye brows.
I carefully researched the Italians last time I did one of these and I've carefully researched the Czech Republic this time around so that we can all know what to expect. The facts, such as they are, are pretty shocking. czwij will probably want to dispute them, and he's welcome to, but since he's basically got the intellectual capacity of a lump of sugar that got a bit wet and all stuck together, you know that horrible way? Yeah, don't expect much of a riposte.
1 - Electricity is yet to be discovered in the Czech Republic!
I must admit, I was rather surprised to see such an early kick off for the match (4.30PM GMT), but then I learned the shocking truth: there is no electricity in the Czech Republic and therefore no way of lighting up and evening game! Because they were under Communist rule for so long, they simply lit everything by burning whale blubber and effigies of Western figures in various governments. They got so used to this that they never bothered to get around to inventing what most other people take for granted. This means that they live in pretty much perpetual darkness, which is a good thing for the population as nobody can see just how ugly the person they're bumping uglies with is; sadly, over population is now leading to starvation and looting - imagine New Orleans, in the dark, with white people.
2 - They had a revolution called 'The Velvet Revolution'
I'm a big fan of Adam Ant and all the fine velvet clothing he used to wear, hell, I even have a few 'New Romantic' friends who prance about the place all velvet and frills, and that's OK. Naming a revolution 'Velvet'? How fucking queer is that? You want a revolution that implies victory and dominance. Not one that makes you think of some queerhawk sitting in the dark, crying and writing poems. I'd have called it the 'KILL ALL COMMIES Revolution' or something, or the 'Fuck You Up and Get High Revolution'. It just goes to show the complete lack of imagination in the country, as well as a penchant for sodomising each other. Actually, maybe sodomy would be the solution to the population problem (see above).
3 - They use rocks for currency.
In a revelation almost as shocking as the lack of electricity in what is supposed to be a prosperous nation, it must come as quite a shock to learn that unlike most European countries, the Czechs do not use the Euro. At the meeting when all the European heads got together to make a decision about a unifying currency, the delegate from the Czech Republic showed up in naught but a loin cloth, carrying a club; blinking at the miracle of electric light and attractive people, he got scared and ran away back to his hideous wife and barbaric children. This meant they got left out and now use various sized rocks to indicate the worth of the things they buy. Interestingly enough, this model of finance is actually worth more than the US Dollar, so I guess that's something else the Czechs can do, besides beer.
4 - When it comes to football, they use robots.
Completely without skill and panache, there is one thing that the Czech football team is famous for: size. They are all about eight feet tall with the distribution being around 5 foot legs, 2 foot torso and one foot head. This is because the entire team is robotic, which normally would be an advantage. Sadly, the team who control the robots are all blind mutes who were silenced after being vociferous against the name 'Velvet Revolution', they had wanted to name it the 'Fuck the West Revolution' but that didn't sit well with the delicate sensibilities of the other guys. Feeling bad about the punishment in a fit of drunken remorse, famous homosexual and Czech leader, Ivo Victor decided to give the fuckers a chance and put them in charge of football. Poor decision really, but there we have it.
5 - The minimum age for prostitutes is 65!
Seriously, that's just fucking disgusting. I went to Prague once and lost a bet resulting in a session with a 'lady of the night'. Let me tell you, it was like having sex with a baggy old scrotum, skin flopping about all over the place, slapping me. It was horrendous and an experience I really don't want to repeat. Years of therapy will not be able to erase the memory, but hey, we live and learn right? It's well known that the president of the country has a hareem of these hideous troll women and regularly films himself making 'sweet love' to various slack old whores. Far from being frowned upon, it is actually encouraged over there. I'm not really sure why such depravity should be celebrated, but as you've probably realised now, the Czechs are a backward race of worthless cretins that are good for nothing apart from beer and making Americans look stupid; the latter isn't difficult really, to be blunt.
So there you have it ladies and gentlemen, a brief, true and highly well researched and balanced dossier on the opponents for this evenings entertainment. I must now consume my weight in Buckfast by way of preparation for the spectacle.

Bloody football! My darling boyfriend sat in the board room at work starting with the football and ending in drunken heap still in the board room at 7 am. I got home about 3 am thinking I would most definitely be the hardest o the two of us. I woke up with my toungue stuck in the back of my throat gargling what life still remained in me.

Fuck the BBC. Why is it that even though they have coverage on BBC 2 Scotland you can't watch it on one of the many digital BBC channels. My best mate lives and works in London, I used to think he was earning SO much, then I visited his shoe box of a flat, found out his mortgage payments and went out for a 5.50 pint and realised, he was no better off. Just paying more for pollution, noise, crime and overcrowding.

I think it's a great idea. From the Beeb the stats indicate that Scotland have been playing 6 Scots and 5 foreigners all season, and look at the improvement in Scottish football in recent years. Admittedly it was during the dark days of Vogts that this all began, but it's starting to pay off.
The big problem in England is complacency. On paper England should be a fantastic side, but the reality is way different; boring and self indulgent shite, 90% of the time. Say what you like about Scotland but at least we play with energy and passion, plus we managed to do what England failed to do and get a draw with Croatia. Oh yeah, and beat France twice.
We would be in Europe if we hadn't fucked up against Georgia away and if Schevchenko hadn't dived against us in Ukraine.

To be fair, it's bullshit that we get the reputation that we do, referees are always amazingly harsh against us, but it's cool. Personally, I don't think they'll put out a particularly weak team, but even if they do, it'll still be entertaining.
