What online news sites do you use?
I'm looking for a relatively impartial source like the equivalent of BBC News.
I usually go to CNN for my American news but can you recommend any others?

I'm in America, and I check out the BBC world news site. I don't trust American news anymore. Besides, it lets me keep up with how Ipswich fucked up and missed the playoffs.

Keith Olbermann as a journalist is pretty great, he's with MSNBC, they have a website.
Google.com/news is pretty decent, it has a collection of articles from different sites.

I'd actually like to address the above comment just for shits and giggles.
I am all of the above when it comes to the role I play around here. That's all it is, a role. If you pulled your head out of your ass long enough to look around, you'd see that I have always played along with everything that's been thrown at me because it's funny and entertaining to myself and others. That's because i'm a good sport and not insecure with myself. I can take it just as well as I dish it out. I've been called a fat, metrosexual, homosexual, insecure, greasy, slimy Greek, just to name a few of the tamer personal barbs thrown my way, and I take it all in stride because it amuses others, and that's really why I come to ubersite; to amuse myself and to amuse others. If you look at some of my older posts, all I did was write stories to entertain and amuse others. People aren't amused by a +2 "You go girl", they get amused when I call some girl that camwhores a "fucking horrid shovelfaced monstrosity".
The difference between myself and most people here, however, is that I can differentiate between real life and the shit flinging on uber. Most people around here are too sensitive and can't handle the abuse because they really are insecure, socially inept retards. A -2 and a nasty comment means the world to them, and have their feelings hurt like there's no tomorrow. My opinion should mean nothing to you, all your opinions definitely mean nothing to me, and that's the way things should be.

AP, Reuters, NPR are probably the most "neutral" news sources possible.
But I like BBCAmerica the best.

On a completely different topic, I've just watched Dr Who and to say I'm dismally disappointed is an understatement. What have the BBC done to this series? Stupid CGI wasp with stupid Agatha Christie mystery. Truly awful, I want to cry.

Having grown up watching the underfunded atrocity that is the CBC, and then lived in the UK for a couple of years I have to say the BBC has no equal, and it's good to see that their online edition is just as good. I check it daily.
I also check AP as well,.
The best you can do for American news is jump between MSNBC/CNN/CBS/Whatever, and Fox News.
I KNOW, I KNOW, Fox News is conservative and everyone loves to point that out, but they rarely point out how left-leaning a lot of other news sources are, so I check both for different takes on the same story.
The perfect example is stories concerning "undocumented workers" / "illegal aliens."
