Who cares? Really?
I have spent the last week bouncing around the Caribbean.
Lusting after Latin women and drinking rhum, sorry, rum.
It's tough being me.
On a cruise ship the television channel selections can be hit or miss, and honestly I didn't watch much anyway. Most of the feeds are the Latin American satellite feeds of US stations, oddly enough they are broadcast in English yet all the on-air commercials and "what's up next" is in Spanish.
I think that the only thing ESPN ESPORTES broadcasts is soccer games.
Thankfully CNN is mostly in Spanish, which left me in the dark about things going on here in the good old, US of A.
But not to worry the three-hour layover in the airport fixed that. I was bombarded with this nonsense the whole time.
OMG! Bruce Springsteen endorses Obama!!
SO WHAT?
Why do we have to hear every time a celebrity endorses a candidate? It isn't news.
Why do we put so much emphasis on their choice of a candidate?
My opinion matters just as much as your next-door neighbor or your mailman, but there's no press release when we decide whom we want vote for.
Seriously how many of you have voted based upon a celebrity endorsement? Is it like this in other countries too?
" Screw the issues, I'm voting for who ever Oprah says she's voting for."
And people wonder why the country's so fucked up.
Anyway, enough ranting. Just a few parting thoughts.
Aruba is very nice.
JetBlue is great, the TV in the seat is fantastic.
The new " Doctor Who", rocks my face off.
Is there a monster.com for Grand Cayman? Because there is no reason for me to endure winter any longer.

Ok, enough of this TV talk. Important shit is happening.
Judas Priest (w/ Halford) is releasing a new album - here's the title track http://www.judas-priest.com/nostradamus/Nostradamus.mp3
They're touring with Motörhead and that show will melt my old greybearded face when I see it.

Torchwood is eh, some interesting episodes...some shitty ones.
Rose just annoyed me. I think it was because the end of the First Season, the quib about "I can see all time and space." blah blah. I get it but I just didnt like how it was done. I much preferred the ending in Season 3 in how the companion was used.

Also, Eccelston gets a bad rap. He was a great Doctor Who. Also, I liked Martha more than Rose. I know, I know, crazy talk.
My favorite episode is still "Blink" from last year.

Eccelston was an awesome Doctor, he is a great actor, if you saw him in cracker, particulary the his final one where he is stabbed by robert carlyle, just awesome.
Blink was really good, they are all sogood it is hard to pick favourites.
I still don't see how anyone can prefer martha to rose. rose is cute, a bit pudgey, hs a crazy ass mother. She was perfect.

I have puffed sleeved blouses!
david is indeed doctor number 10. He is actually scottish and normally speaks with a broad scotch accent. he is really that good.
the red head - annoynig voice, bit old, in some lights quite pretty, in others a bulldog chewing a wasp - is a comedian doing a one off. his assistant after rose is a black lass called martha but i couldn't warm to her, not because she was black, mind.
kylie also did one episode.
I haven't caught the brand new series yet, I think it is at episode 3, my schedule doesn't allow me to catch it, but I am terribly sure rose makes an appearance. he had to leave her stranded in some parralel universe with her mum, mickey and her dad. Never to leave it apparently, the gap in time closed forever just as she said 'I love you' and he was about to say it back.
If you can you really neeed to check out these episodes

I don't know if you have heard of the spin off Torchwood yet, but if you get a chance to watch it, don't bother ok.

It's ESPN Deportes, as in ESPN spanish fucking word for sports not ESPN with a ES EL or LA in front of an english word to get the spanish equivalent.
Good post otherwise.

Don't like the new Doctor Who theme tune. Not as good as the old one.

Not a huge fan of television, but your comment "The new 'Doctor Who' rocks my face off" prompts me to relate that in a recent fit of boredom and bad weather combined, I watched the some-time-back-DVR'd David Tennant episode featuring quantum beings that are statues when not being observed. It was actually quite good. I was entertained for an hour.

yes Sarah is hot, I think it was the puffy sleeves.
I was just a kid back when she was on the first time.
Rose is cute too, with some blue eye make up she reminds me of someone.
whats with the red head chick is she new?
so is Tennant the present Doctor?
10th, right?

oooh, the ood they are a weird bunch.
I haven't caught any of this series I have always been busty when it is on. I am not too sure on Catherine Tate again, she was terribly annoying in the Christmas special I felt. But I see Rose is back, even for a short while, which makes me happy.

Of course being a septic tank you of course are talking about the last series and not the current one and therefore you can safely ignore me.
Ood. Those are the demon possessed aliens.
Ood.

You show our age saying Sarah Jane is *still* hot.
:)
Girl in the fireplace, that is it, oh it ended with the Doctor promising to return for her, he was going to take her on the ship, for they were in lurve, he left her for a minute to 'fix' something on the ship, and of course when he returneed in what was a few moments for him, it was years for her.
They were just taking her body to Paris, she had waited years for his return and left a letter. the Doctor cried but Rose looked happy that bitch was no longer competition.
The planet in Orbit one I have on DVD. The second part is terrific and you should try to catch it. That Toby as a possessed person gets really creepy and when you see Satan or whatever at the core it is genuinely scary.
You need to sheck out the Chris Ecclestone ones, The Lost Child, I believe it is called and the one where Rose see's her dad die at the church. Awesome.
Ooops, my geek is showing.

I saw the one that lead into the Sarah Jane Chronicles, where the Doctor left her K9
She is still hot btw.
The one called the "Girl in the fireplace" the robots were using the crew as spare parts and were waiting for her to be old enough. I never saw how it ended we landed and they turned off the satalite feed.
and the first part with the planet in orbit under the black hole, and the devil worshiping Mind flayer looking things. They only showed part one.
all David Tennant.
I am hooked.
