Garfield? How is this crap still in my newspaper since I was a child?! Family Circus?!? Jesus Christ! Who gives these fuckin' bastards the right to call them the "funny papers" or "comic strips"?! Newspaper cartoon strips are NOT funny. The only way we are given a recess from this so-called "humor" is when someone dies. And this isn't happening too much.
It is very hard to break into the world of comic strips. My personal favorite was The Far Side and it was actually very funny. But I already read about some of the hate mail Gary Larson got. Some people must have nothing else to do.
Luckily, online you'll occasionally find comic strips that are funny. Take that, Ziggy.
