A member of staff at the school I Tech for had a similar idea to this.
As we are bound to be COMPLETELY politically correct now, and we have difficulty telling the difference between an Indian, an Iranian, a Pakistani, or any other non-caucasian group, we would come up with an identity card based on genetic traits e.g. nose, eye and mouth shape and skin tone.
Every time HM. Gov. decides that the "correct" method of identifying a particular group is suggested, the list is increased.
I fully expect a leaflet resembling a Pantone colour swatch by the end of 2009.
