I would like to announce that I finished the entire crossword puzzle from today's paper.
It was touch and go there for a little while because I had no idea what a four letter word for "Bahrain VIP" could be but once I figured out that a "type of bean" was a "lima" and since I knew that the "host of Valhalla" is "Odin" and that "Pharaoh's Tomb" is "pyramid" I closed in on EMIR being the answer to the Bahrain VIP.
Ok I will admit that for a while I had "stop" as the answer to the clue "quell" but then since I was pretty sure that a "sea cow" is not a "panatee" I changed it from "stop" to "stem" so now I'm pretty sure that a Bahrain VIP is an EMIR.
First off let me thank all the little people like the cafeteria workers at my elementary school who were instrumental in my knowing that "horrible food" is "slop". I would also like to thank the mass media for my knowing that "Feng _" is "shui". I certainly could not have done this without my rather flamboyant former roommate because without him I would not have known that "trolley sound" is "clang" as in "clang clang clang went the trolley".
I am now free to move on to a well deserved lunch.
Thank you all for your support and kind wishes in this matter. A new challenge awaits me on tomorrow's driveway. I wonder whether "Blarney Stone Locale" will be therein since it has already been used twice this week alone.
Hey this is big news for me, I went to public school and majored in math (or as my friends across the pond call it maths).
