I live in a nation where thousands of people will not give ten minutes to help those less fortunate. Because too many times that unfortunate person will be there day after day, getting money for booze and violently ignoring a cheeseburger offered to them. It ruins it for those that actually need help.
I live in a nation where millions of people will not vote for their elected officials, stating that voting is pointless. Because politics have not done anything to show us one choice is better than the next. Some of us do vote. Kelly Clarkson won fair and square.
I live in a world where Polio, Guinea worm, Lymphatic Filariasis, Measles, Blinding Trachoma, Onchocerciasis, Hepatitis B, Leprosy, Neonatal Tetanus and Iodine Deficiency have almost been completely wiped out.
I live in a nation where our elected officials garner our laws and policies based on ancient texts that while not believed in by everyone, are at least better than no moral compass at all. Humans will always cherry-pick information to suit their own ends. In the immortal words of Will Smith, "Don't hate the player, hate the game."
I live in a world where there is no longer personal responsibility.

I live in a world where everyone with a smidgen of historic oppression has tossed it at me because I'm White. I never owned a slave, built a fence or rounded up a Jew. Leave me alone.
I live in a nation where I can find out a guy on the sexual predator online list lives five fucking houses away from me. Yeah buddy, I'm watching your shit.
I watch Hockey where players beat each other up then go have beers together after the game.

I live in a world where they stopped showing 9/11 footage because people were getting hostile and it was upsetting to certain Immigrant groups. I'm sorry, how many Mexicans flew plains into the Trade Center again? Oh that's right, NONE of them did.
I live in a world where a fear of an angry God might not be a bad idea.
I live in a world where if you look back at all the injustice, crime and terror you experience, you start to see a pattern that is hard to look past. Regardless of how non-P/C you think it is. If that pattern happens to be color coordination, what am I supposed to tell you? You were there not me.
Worst of all, I live in a world where people like me can stand on the backs of a much more talented writer and gank their hard work for my own benefit.

The funny thing about Mexican immigrants is that I've worked with and been around so many of them (especially ones that don't speak English), that I feel guilty for having not learned Spanish yet every time they talk to me.
I just realized that the other day. Now, I'm just going to go ahead and pass the blame on my parents for not raising me bi-lingual.

Why does it make you feel bad? This is America. English is our language. If you moved to France, would you expect them to feel bad if they don't learn English for you? No, you would learn their language, or at least I hope you would, because that is their language and you are living in their country. The Mexicans wanted to move here to work in America and make American money, they should learn our damn language. In some places where I live, I can drive down the street and read signs for stores completely in Spanish. I don't know what the fuck they sell in the damn store and I live here. That's reverse racism. They complain when they can't read the English signs cause they won't learn our language but they find it perfectly acceptable to put up signs that the rest of the English speaking country that has been here longer can't understand cause we didn't learn some other country's language.

For the most part I completely agree. That's why I thought it was funny, is because I was the one feeling like I should have learned their language.
But really, I don't understand why they don't learn English. I'm a fairly understanding person, and when I think of myself in their situation, I'd sure as fuck learn English, if nothing else, for the chance to get a better job. But hey, who knows.

I fucking hate Muslims...
I mean, I hate Christians and Jews and Hindus too, but Muslims are the fucking worst. I am intolerant of other's religious beliefs, but only because their books and leaders tell them to kill me.

You do know that Mexicans are not the only group of immigrants in America, right? I think the group would be the Muslim groups because asshole Americans started calling them names and ostracizing them for something that one group of crazy bastards did. Americans don't like Mexicans because they smell and they force everyone (at least where I live) to put up store signs in Spanish because they are too fucking lazy to take the time to try and learn English. But all in all good points.

You're also correct in your generalizations.
It's hard to look at the grand scope of things. Yeah, some homeless people only want booze and drugs, but some also use they money they collect for food.
Sure, we've cured a lot of diseases, but there is still no cure for Cancer. The government makes so much money off of Cancer patients that to release a cure would be to cut off a huge line of their income. The rich get richer. The sick get sicker.
Voting is pointless because the President is a figure head. He is controlled by the oil companies that run the world. The President makes no decisions. He just tells you what the ones in power are going to do next. To think that George W. Bush is in control of America is absolutely ridiculous. He's barely able to form a coherent sentence. Think about it.
I have plenty of Jewish friends. They never say anything about being enslaved by the Egyptians or being mass murdered in the Holocaust. I know black kids who still talk about slavery. What about Christians being fed to the Lions? What about white people, still to this day, being harassed and tormented in Hawaii? People's first mistake is thinking that they're entitled to anything for something that happened to someone they never knew hundreds of years ago.
The online sexual predator list is awesome. It should be the inspiration to make a list to see any ex-convict and where they live.
Fear of an angry God...Interesting. If everyone was an Atheist, think of how many problems that would solve. No more abortion clinics being tormented and bombed. No more Muslims killing Jews. No more terrorists attacking America. It would be the end of thousands upon thousands of years of bloodshed. Somehow it's OK to have a war over religion, but its frowned upon to not like someone due to skin color. It's all the same. Blind hatred is blind hatred no matter what context you string along with it.
It's time we as a society focused on the progression of our human race. Focus on making the world a better place to live in, not just for us, but for our children. It's time to rise up together, hand in hand, arm in arm, and become the catalyst that will set off the powder keg of change.
