Twenty-second birthday, rather.
One of the homeboys never got around to calling me back today. It was a little out of character, but very outta place. Twenty-second birthdays only come around but once. Boy shoulda called back and he didn't. He went and called me late to come find him and the entourage that was building around him. I knew what to do. I came in like a shadow and stole my boy away. He thanked me like a brother before I dropped him at his home. Homeboy's gotta get to work early, and he knew from the start that I could come steal him...even from a party in his name.
