This is NOT a Rick Astley or Ahsley video. "Never gonna give you up!" Yes they are funny, but this is real.
I like to think I am a tough person, tougher then most anyway. This video had me crying. I've seen people die but this had me spooked for 20 minutes. It's nine minutes of hell.
Personally they are all pussies because nobody went in there to help. Oh, I'm a pussy also. No way I'd go in.

Animals don't deserve to be killed for being animals. A bear kills a human, they should NOT go track down the bear and kill it for revenge. That's some pussy ass bullshit.

It's one of those "you know the risks, but hey, it won't happen to me" situations we all face - such as driving a car. You assume risks with everything, and when I see someone who risked and lost, I still feel for them.
If you have no sympathy for the victims of everyday life, how can you expect sympathy when the tables are turned on you?

You and I both know that there's a world of difference between driving to work in the morning and jamming your head in a motherfucking lion's mouth. It's the difference between a calculated risk with a foreseeable benefit and idiotic thrillseeking. It's also the difference between putting your life on the line, and needlessly risking the life of an endangered species that wanted no part of your bullshit to begin with for absolutely no reason. I have no sympathy for this asshat for the same reason I have sympathy for that Steve Irwin wannabe who got eaten by bears. Both insisted on playing in a dangerous animal's domain, both paid the price, and both got animals they were supposed to be 'advocating' taken down with them.
You wanna feel sympathy for the guy? Go ahead. It's not going to pay for his meds, and it won't do jack shit for the scars on his back. Personally, I don't think they left him in there long enough to learn his lesson.

I used to work in an animal shelter, Womp. Got bitten on a regular basis, and once got my arm torn open by a doberman I had to restrain during a vaccination. I never once reported it, let alone expected any kind of retribution. As far as I'm concerned, if this carnie worked with animals that were both larger and faster than he was, he should have known the risks. If he was genuinely stupid enough that he didn't, then he was probably better off out of the gene pool.

If you watch the video, you'll see that the lion was shot four times. After the first shot the lion hunkered down and bit harder. After the second shot the lion tried to take it's prey away and didn't let go. I don't think that it would have let go without killing it.
