What's funny is, after the no-no on ESPN, they were talking about who's the best pitcher in the A.L.

First ones that came to mind were Santana, Verlander, and Felix Hernandez. Even though I probably should have thought of Daisuke, he's just not someone I'd equate with being the best in the league.

Then, fuckin John Kruk says "I'm gonna have to go with Curt Schilling." and then went off on a tangent on how he's the guy you want in there during a must win situation. I'm pretty sure he misunderstood the question, because even with the injuries, I'd rather have Johan in my lineup than Schilling. One game, high pressure, MAYBE you'd rather have Schilling in. Maybe.

Those ex-phillies. Couldn't win shit... but man, do they stick together.

While I hate the fucking Tigers - even more after what they did last october to my A's - Verlander has the best stuff in the American league, and I include Santana when i say this.

I went to high school with Justin and we was a fucking phenom back then. I used to make fun of him and tell him that he couldn't pitch worth a shit. I let him cheat off of me a couple times and the normal horseshit. I'd like to think that my berating him was the cause of his success but that's not at all possible.

He did pitch at ODU, too, and I think that is where he really developed his shit.

Goochland High School.

The single greateest moment in sports has nothing to do with baseball...

If you are talking about a single game occurrence, then I have to agree...pitching is so ridiculously difficult and its nearly impossible not to make a mistake.

PS: I have Verlander in about half of my fantasy teams...solid.

I gotta agree with that. As a sporting moment itself, it's bigger than any sports Title.

who gives a shit about ratings?

Is it just me, or do you think that throwing a no hitter is the second greatest accomplishment in all of sports?

Shortly after throwing his no hitter Justin Verlander was quoted as saying "The only thing that could make this night more special would be if Darko got his ratings back too"
