My eyes hurt after reading a few posts here. Make like maddox and change the background to black or something.

The fact that when you were born you didn't drown face down in a pool of your own afterbirth is a damn shame.

DAYUM Hidden, I'm jealous! When we got this one tho, it took me a while to get used to it, b/c we were watching a 27" tv from about 15 feet away. I kept asking ppl, "does it look too big?" ppl were like "are you dumb? this is a luxary!"...lol....I love it now, and am completely spoiled! But congrats on the 67"!!

I see Uber on a 53" tv screen, so I have no complaints. But It sounds like to me instead of telling everyone else to get off their ass and go do something, your the one that needs to back away from the fucking computer and find something to do, your the one walking away with eye strain after all.

"Why don't you make like a tree and shove it up your ass."
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
or, even simpler than downloading Mozilla- you can do the same thing by right-clicking on your desktop in windoze, and changing it in the appearance tab, dipshit. i don't mean to sound like Nick Burns, your company's computer guy, but jesus fucking christ! get a clue!

Actually, there is a special feature of Ubersite that let's you change skins. Download mozilla from http://mozilla.org , install, from menu choose Edit -> Preferences... -> Appearance -> Colors and change the text from black to white and change the background from white to black.
You're welcome.

So...nimrod...change it to a grey backround and black text, or whatever the fuck you want. Or do what I did because I also don't like staring at a white screen - edit the windows color scheme.

This is a valid point.
A solution that would satify everbody would be the use of user-selected alternative style sheets, which are fairly easily implemented and allow users to "skin" the website according to their taste and possible disabilities.

Nimrod. Black background with white text is even worse on the eyes.

Why don't you stop being a candy-ass? And if it bothers you that much, you can change your internet browsers page options to a black backround with white, grey, or whatever color font you want.

That goes straight to the heart from a fatass who calls himself a corn chip company. Here's some advice for you tubby: Get off your ass, run ten feet, catch your breathe, run another ten feet, catch your breathe, don't eat the chocolate cake thats sitting on the counter and repeat as necessary. Some people deserve to be turned into Soilent Green.

What Cicciro said.
However, there's a simple alternative: just leave.
Come to think of it, there's another one: die.

Highlighting text does remove the imediate background, also it causes your eyes to focus on that specific part, due to the fact that there is a change and usually retinas focus on the constant changes. Highlighting helps, you can also make the font size larger in order to increase the effectiveness of highlighting.

Highlight text if it bothers you that much, or make the font bigger. God, don't be so damn susceptible to eye issues, fuckhead.
