Thanks to everyone who participated, even you pricks that made it more interesting than it needed to be. Drama or no drama, there was some quality work produced in this affair. And because of that I'd say it was worth it if you enjoyed yourself, enjoyed taking a chance on writing something you wouldn't normally be interested in and/or enjoyed reading what some of your e-mates had to share. It's not life changing stuff we're dealing with, but change is always good.
As I've no desire to recap every single entry, I will instead share some following thoughts at random:
Apparently this NoMeD user was an alter. Someone actually felt the need to use an alter during a poetry competition. Don't be afraid to show your true colors. Step out of the closet and embrace your emotions, sissypants.
I understand why Circe rolled, but I wish she hadn't.
Clearly foreign women are much more capable of producing good verse than domestic menz.
I hate the word "menz."
Is "menz" even a word?
gofer and Coleslaw need to write more.
beeltea had a tough road to run, and should write more poetry.
I think JoeyG surprised a lot of people.
People who think Shlongy wrote his own entries are kidding themselves.
It's hard to find a good rhyme for "buttered nipple."
Strwbryfanatic has yet to see that she misunderstood the whole "date change" issue.
This is the first time in, what, forever that ghola's been knocked out in Round 1?
Giving people credit and assuming their behavior simply doesn't work out like you think it will.
This is it for me, host-wise. As the man said, "Once is enough," and I'm now officially beyond that lesson. I don't know who'll be around next year if there's to be a third incarnation of this, but whoever is is welcome to take the wheel and steer this bitch on down the road.
I know that the label system is here for a reason, but I feel that it doesn't do justice to multiple entries. So here's a list of the competitors and all of their posts, earliest to latest, in case anyone wants to read them in sequence to see how certain authors matured or varied their style.

The Orgasmatron makes a valid point. This contest was like a bunch of kids really trying to play baseball while the kids from across town came and threw tomatoes at them.
I'd like to see an honest contest with real entries and serious reviews, but it won't happen here.

And Joey- you did great, and improved the whole way along. You remind me of a young me, as a runner up to Queen Circe in FUPA last year. So naturally, I'm impressed.
I liked so much of what I read from people I didn't even know would join. A whole lot of awesome came out of this comp, no doubt.

You should have included a lot more Shlongy - as my entries were easily the most humorous and controversial and my participation ALONE made this contest even worth following - in your review of the competition. I am, of course, insulted that you don't think the work was Shlongy's and Shlongy's alone. I don't even KNOW TTOM and what makes you think he would help me?
As much as it would pain you to do so, or admit, Shlongy helped make this contest interesting and if you want to say so, successful.
