I don't think he stole the idea from them, if he ever even saw that cartoon (which was predictable, yet high-larious) before you posted it.
I think the creativity needed to create the concept of analyzing the lack of reality in a movie is not very much. However, he did it pretty well, and it came out great.

The best part of Spiderman 3 was when Gwen Stacy is hanging from a piece of metal 50 stories up on a building, and Spider Man has yet to arrive on the scene... Topher Grace turns to her father who is coincidentally the Police Chief and SMILES and says "Oh by the way, I'm dating your daughter" before going back to snapping pictures.

I kept waiting for Parker to have a fling with the landlord's daughter, being as she was giving him the "fuck me" eyes only about ten thousand times during the eight minutes total of her screen presence in the movie. Alas, it never happened.
Still, I liked the film, although it was evident that they were struggling to keep the action moving at spots.

The only part I found even remotely amusing was when the editor whose name I can't be bothered to look up kept getting buzzed to remind him of his blood pressure.
That being said why do people ask if you know of a decent hotel in your home town? Has anyone ever stayed at a hotel in their own home town? I suppose maybe if you were having some sort of elicit affair or something but when I go home I stay at my parents' house. Fuck if I know of any hotels there.

The best part of Spiderman 3 was when Gwen Stacy is hanging from a piece of metal 50 stories up on a building, and Spider Man has yet to arrive on the scene... Topher Grace turns to her father who is coincidentally the Police Chief and SMILES and says "Oh by the way, I'm dating your daughter" before going back to snapping pictures.

What was that crap where Parker kept getting hit with spitballs in class? Isn't this supposed to be a college class? I spent a ridiculous amount of time in college classes and have the student loans to prove it. Nobody in college ever threw a spitball or used a dental tool to reflect light in someone's face as a way of what getting back at them for being a suck up. What is that school Window Licker U?

He was, you were right. I had my doubts, but I agree that he was actualized pretty well. I thought I caught a hint or two of tongue, but nothing that did the comic rendition justice. Would have been nice to see him refer to himself as 'us' but that would have necessitated a whole lot more character development. Bygones, whatever. He was still creepy, entertaining, and Topher Grace did a great job with the Brock side of the character.
I'd have rather limited the movie to one or two villains, because to me most of the movie played out as half-run due to all that it had to work through. That crane scene for instance. Spider-Man is never actually shown doing what he was called there to do. He pulls off an impromptu rescue and we're left to assume that the rest was taken care of by rescue squads or something. The Sandman, aside from being a visual treat, looked like he was only really there for emotional closure. Are we to assume that his girl is still dying, despite being close to death years before when he was arrested? Not enough coverage overall.
A girl next to me in the theatre started crying five times during the movie. Five. Times.
The actor that played Uncle Ben looks a lot like Johnny Cash did right before he died.
Bruce Campbell stole the show, by the way.
I find Bryce Dallas Howard oddly attractive, and oddly unattractive at the same time.
I want a butler like Bernard. Bernard? Was that his name? Toby? Toby? Toby? Toby Wong? Toby Wong. Maybe it was Canard, I dunno. That's a pretty sweet name too.

What is funny about this is you capture the Green Goblin II perfectly even as a joke. In the comics he is a drug and alcohol addict, and has several trists with Mary Jane.

Now that the 'No Comment' train has been brought to a halt...
I'm surprised they didn't have Dr. Connors figure out that Peter Parker was Spider-Man in this third movie. Just for laughs. I don't think it would have been out of place considering, you know, half of NY has it figured out.
There was definitely way too much emo during the 'bad Peter' scenes. I do not buy into emo heroes. I don't care how hip they think they are.
